Murat Korçak Appointed as Türkiye’s Alternate Permanent Representative to the IMO

Murat Korçak, formerly serving as Deputy Director General for Regulation of Transportation Services, has been appointed as Türkiye’s Alternate Permanent Representative to the International Maritime Organization (IMO), a specialized agency of the United Nations.

Based in London for the next four years, Korçak will focus on strengthening the international competitiveness of Türkiye’s maritime sector and enhancing cooperation with global maritime stakeholders.
